Usually a debtor is not invoiced for an internal project. However, it is possible to attach an account to an internal project. This account can be a (future) customer, supplier or resource.
Via the menu path [Projects, Projects, Maintain projects] you can attach an account by clicking the icon in the upper right corner. Next, you can select the account you would like to add, or create a new one.
Generate sales order
Once the account is added to an existing project, the message ‘Generate sales orders?’ is displayed. When pressing ‘OK’, a sales order is generated and the message ‘Generate sales orders: Successful.’ Is shown. Subsequently, the sales order will get the description and our reference ‘From : Internal project’. If necessary, this can be adjusted in the sales order itself.
